1. Assessing Catchment Area Properties using GIS Techniques
Shekhawat Rajesh Kumar and Abuzar Gaffari
International Journal of Advances in Engineering & Technology (IJAET), Volume 15 Issue 3, pp. 17-26, June 2022.
ABSTRACT
For estimating "Design Discharge" through any bridge, properties of Catchment Area are needed as input. Assessment of these properties using conventional methods, has many limitations, in addition to being very time consuming. All these limitations can be addressed, and many other improvements can also be made, if use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques is made for this purpose. This Technical Paper covers these GIS Techniques, developed/aggregated by the authors using freely available Software/platforms, for assessing Catchment Area Properties in a faster and more accurate manner.

2. A Simulation Study of Silicon-Germanium Heterostructure Devices
Roberto Marani and Anna Gina Perri
International Journal of Advances in Engineering & Technology (IJAET), Volume 15 Issue 3, pp. 17-26, June 2022.
ABSTRACT
In this paper we present a description of the physical principles relating to heterostructures and then we analyse the heterojunctions Si-Ge, simulating, in particular, the performance of a Si-Ge Photodetector.
